Actor Vijay in a recent interview had expressed his wrath regarding the cancellation of grand welfare event that was planned to occur on behalf of his birthday celebration.

This event was organized by Vijay and his fans movement called "Vijay Makkal Iyakkam" and was planned to occur on June 8th at AM Jain college ground opposite to Chennai Airport.

It is to be noted that when DMK was in rule, Vijay fans had organized an welfare event in Erode, at last minute, Cops disallowed Vijay to enter the stage stating security reasons.

Every year Vijay makes sure that poor and needy people were benefited through his birthday celebration and this year things turned bigger and better and hence Actor planned for a welfare scheme worth Rs.1 crore.

When questioned about the issue, Actor Vijay replied in a very concise manner "I have a great care for our society and I am interested in philanthropic activities, my fans are also interested in helping poor people.I had been taking care of educational expenses of poor and aspiring students, conducting marriage ceremony for poor couples, providing medical aids to needy people.I feel happy if someone is benefited out of my birthday so this year my fans and me planned for a grand event in a view of helping around 3900 people from Tamilnadu, Karnataka and Kerala.Since it is a grand event we asked permission to AM Jain college Management to host the event in their ground. They agreed for it.Later some didn't like me doing good deeds to the people, so they brought many obstacles to the event, not even able to celebrate birthday happily in a constructive manner. Some propagated the rumor that this birthday celebration is a ground work for my political aspiration or entry, believing those rumors College management refused to host our welfare event in their campus though we tried our level best."

When questioned about next plan, he replied "My fans had worked day and night to make this event useful and successful, though i had contributed money for this event, My fans around Tamilnadu and Kerala had contributed huge sum of money. They bought Computers, Autos, specially made cycles for physically challenged, sewing machines with lakhs and lakhs of money. Money doesn't matter but i don't know how to heal their pain."

When questioned about his time of political entry, Actor replied with a smile "I was anticipating this question from the beginning, Acting is my profession and i don't have time to dub for my movies because I start working in another film before dubbing of my present film gets over. With the support of my fans and almighty I'm here at the good place in Tamil Cinema. I don't have even time to think about politics now."

Vijay also added that "Arignar Anna's quote was 'Let us see God in the smiles of poor', If this event had happened, more than 3900 poor would have been blissful, I thank people who disallowed those poor from smiling, I have no more words."
